Family legacy
The core philosophy is simple: build yachts that defy obsolescence and foster a lasting, emotional connection with their owners. Every yacht is engineered for repairability, ensuring it remains a highly sought-after asset with strong resale value. These forward-thinking design principles, initially pioneered by Permare, are now a defining strength of Amer Yachts. The shipyards themselves have always been, and continue to be, the critical testing ground for every generation of the Amerio family’s leadership.

Historical restauration
The complete restoration of Destiny, a magnificent 27-metre Camper & Nicholson yacht, stands as a testament to the unparalleled skill of the Sanremo shipyard. This historical vessel, originally launched in Southampton in 1959 as hull number 826, was given a vibrant new lease on life in 2016 thanks to a truly comprehensive undertaking.
The ambitious two-and-a-half-year project was overseen at every stage by Rodolfo Amerio. Under his watchful eye, a dedicated team of over 80 highly skilled craftsmen poured their mastery into every last detail. Their work was guided by Engineer Giulio Riva and Architect Stefano Tini. Through this extraordinary and painstaking restoration, a true masterpiece of historical boatbuilding was proudly returned to the sea. A crowning achievement.
